Development Plan

• RIDES is being developed as a public service by Saferparks, a 501(c)(3) public charity.
• In the long term, funding will be provided through a combination of grants, donations, and service fees generated through functionality provided by the RIDES system (e.g., subscription services, advertising, customized searches, fees for installable software).
• In the short term, Saferparks has initiated a capital campaign to fund commercial development of the software infrastructure (data management system and website). Coding and testing of those systems is estimated to cost $60,000.
